The Utö island history, services and more.
The bare, rocky islands of Utö are the main gateway to the Archipelago Sea. Since the 17th century, it has been a base for pilots, lighthouse keepers, custom officials and soldiers.
The island is accessible by ferry M / S Eivor from Pärnäs, Nagu. There are also two guest harbours for leisure boats on the island.
Besides the magnificent nature of the island, many other things are also interesting, for example the lighthouse, the prayer house, the stone house and the old wooden pier. The village of Utö Handel is also interesting.
The year-round accommodation on the island is provided by Utö Havshotel, Hannas Horizon and Utö accommodation cabins. Camping on the island is also possible.
